Create and share your 'Mappings'

When you have assigned controls to your most frequently used plug-ins and other music software, you can save these as "mappings". There is a community area on the Novation site where you can upload your favourite mappings, and download other peoples. This means there is an ever-growing library of mappings for a huge variety of music software.

At Novation we are constantly building new mappings to try and keep up with the huge number of music software packages available. So when you load up a commonly used piece of music software, Automap will find a sensible mapping for it and "Auto-map" it for you. If a mapping does not already exist, Automap will randomly assign software parameters to hardware, then you can simply more them about using the instant 'learn' function.

See the names and values of everything you are controlling

Whatever Novation controller you are using, Automap's edit page shows you what is assigned to what.
