Canada's rising star rocks with Launchpad

Lunice is a DJ, producer and live performer from Montreal Quebec, Canada. Still in his early twenties, he's a force to be reckoned within new club music. Recent work includes collaboration with superstar producer Diplo and his Stacker Upper EP was launched on LuckyMe Records in October 2010.
Whether making music in his studio or performing live, Lunice is gripped to Ableton Live, which he controls using Launchpad. But it's not just the hands-on control that attracts him; he needs to be able to react quickly to the audience, "doing a live performance sends an energy to the crowd and the crowd sends back the energy, and it becomes this great festive party".
Lunice recalls his experience when he first started using Launchpad. "All these ideas just appeared. There are so many opportunities with it, and I'm working on what I can do to improve my set."
